The FCI-TD40 wireless anti two-block system for cranes is an alarm system that warns the worker when the main hook approaches the upper limit of its trajectory. This device includes a battery transmitter installed in the boom head (lifespan: more than 2 years) and a receiver installed in the cabin. This receiver possesses an audible and visual alarm, and the output power (6A) to activate the solenoid valves.

The system emits a transmitter failure warning (such as damaged equipment or low battery power) which seeks to ensure the workers awareness of the problem in case it is out of order. The wireless anti-two block system is completely wireless and suitable for 131ft (40m) crane booms. All the devices are already codified by the manufacturer in order to allow many cranes working in the same environment without interferences.

Our new system includes magnetic sensing avoiding this way the mechanical friction exposed to wear. The magnetic sensing detects the approach of the bolt and warns the receptor about its proximity. Optionally, we offer an additional transmitter for the jib which uses the same receiver. Either transmitter will cause the alarm activation and the hydraulic function interruption.
